I need to learn C++ and C# what books would you recommend?

i need to learn these laguages so that i can create my own apps and parts of games that i need to make.

Reply:If you really want to learn C++, first start by typing in the internet c++ tutorial they will teach you the basic and the you can start programming in your own, if you don't like being stuck online to read then get a basic book try to get a tick book to have good reference of all the libraries and so that they can brake it into detail, also if you do not understand something try searching online for things it is very helpful. that is just to start you off if you really need help take some intro classes and you will be able to get the concept much better and the other people will help you out.


So I would say get a book, or online tutorial. example in yahoo type C++ tutorial and they have sites that are dedicated to that.


then try to think of problem that you might want to solve in C++ and then work on it if you have question then just look it up online most likely some one already made your program and you can learn the different styles of programming...

cause i dont think either C++ or C# game development is as easy when compared with VC++.





with VC++ you can devleop games on a fly cause it give you access to threads and even kernal programming in windows.





so my advice for you is to try out VC++.
