Reply:If you just want core-C, then go straight to the source: "The C Programming Language". (http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/cbook/) You'll be reading about K%26amp;R C, but a lot of it is still very applicable. It is also a very short book. Of course, C in-and-of itself is a very small language... it's all of the libraries that make it big :)
