Do you know of any helpful instructional programs to learn C++?

I have As and Bs in all my classes but my intro to C++ class. I understand all the details when someone goes through a program but when i have to make my own(especially involving functions) i get royally confused and it takes me a heck of a lot more time then allotted to figure them out.





I tried to find a book or something at several places today but they all either don't do their functions like we do or the one book that did only used mathematic equations as examples(like figuring out squares) that just confused me more. I saw some online things for free but they read worse then a text book and use singular letters as variables.





My teacher is absolutely no help.

Do you know of any helpful instructional programs to learn C++?
I have some pdf files and i am sure it will help you alot . I am using java because its the best . lol
