Where should i go if want to learn c++ if i am only 11?
im sure there are some VB clases at your local library or somethin. Or you can look in the phonebook for some computer classes that should not be to expensive
Reply:i think you should stick to school....video games take a long time...
Reply:Programming is a whole different ballgame in the IT industry. But before you can do C++, it's wise to know other things about the computer so when you do design games, you know exactly how it will work with a given computer system.

Going from knowing nothing about computer technology to programming games takes steps.

What I would recommend it getting your A+ and Network+ certifications first, then go for learning C++. Both certifications will also help you when you get older and start working with computers, even if you choose later on that programming is not for you.

To start this whole adventure, you can gather all the study materials you need (including C++) either online, at a library, or even bookstores.
Reply:go to the library and get some books about it ~ books on this type of thing cost a fortune so library = free

or find online tutorials i guess

best of luck with it
Reply:i suggest you start of with "Object oriented design and methodologies" and once you have a basic understanding about object oriented programing then you can start learning individual programing languages such as C++, java, VB etc. good luck.
