How can i learn c &c++? is it difficult to learn?

If you already know how to write programs in some other language, it's not difficult at all. I recommend two books: "Teach Yourself C" and "Teach Yourself C++". Both are by Herbert Schildt. They are awesome.

If you do not know how to write programs, you may want to consider a class at the community college.

Are you good with logic? All programming languages are totally based on logic. If you are a logical person then it might not be so difficult for you.

Dont limit yourself to just C and C++

There are many programming languages, give each of them a look over:

C

C+

C++

C#

.net

VB

JavaScript (I am teaching myself this one)

SQL

Oracle

XML

High-Level programming languages are going to require college as it requires knowledge of calculus among other things..

Good luck

Also consider asking for and finding a tutor!

Have fun but be safe!
Reply:Provided you're learning from good sources, learning C/C++ isn't difficult at all. What you'll find later is that memorizing the functions and their correct parameters will take a lot of time.

There are sites and site forums which can help you out (just do a Google search).

My suggestion though, is to buy at least 2 books. One on programming the operating system, and another one on C/C++.

The information contained in books can be found out in the Internet, but books give you information in an ordered and proper manner.

A book probably won't provide you with all the answers, but at least you'll know what to look for when searching the Internet for more information.
Reply:if you know how please tel me because its hard to learn yourself!!!

so remember to tell me!!!
Reply:Its not very difficult. I'm learning it right now, you jsut need to get the program and mess around with it. The commands are very simple and stuff.
Reply:It is very difficult. Your best bet would be to take it at the local junior college or start with something easy like PHP or visual basic.
Reply:There is a great dummies book for that (c++ for dummies), there may even be more, it is probably in the neighborhood of $30-$40 depending on where you get it. I would buy it if I were you.
