Whay are the best for beginners websites to learn c++?
Are you a beginner to programming or to C++? If the former, C++ is the not the best language for beginners to learn. I'd suggest Java or C#. C++ is a hack to make C object oriented. If you want to object oriented C, try Objective-C.

If you really need to learn C++ I'd suggest a virtual trip to Amazon for some canonical books on learning C++. Websites are a great place for help but no substitute for learning C++ to an extent you can be productive.

Thats a good one.

Enjoy.
Reply:I wouldn't rely on website tutorials, because most tutorial just jump from one place to another without and proper studying structure.

Buy a book from Deitel website. Choose anyone you want from their website, is very worth it.

Their books digs into the theory behind programming, the logics as to why it is engineering that way, and best of all, it gives you many study examples with proper explanations. Following up by hundreds and thousand of practice questions.

The books are pricey at $100 range, but if you are serious about learning C++ and actually see the kind of career it can get you, $100 is cheap.

Good Luck.
Reply:Mini is right; I learned from "C How to Program Second Edition" by Harvey M. Deitel and Paul J. Deitel. It's a really good book; I'd suggest it, but I don't know how much it costs. It may be about as thick as a dictionary, but, if you break it down, it's completely maneagable. I spent two years reading the book from front to back, and I enjoyed every day of it. (I was 9 and I understood it; what does that tell you?)

As of online tutorials, I'm suprised no one mentioned http:\\www.cplusplus.com . It has a tutorial that describes some of the newer languages. Having a really old Borland in conjuntion with that book, some of the newer features (like namespaces) I can't use. Check your version and your IDE (if it doesn't highlight it but highlights other keywords, it's too old).

And welcome to the world of C++!

It is a great message board.
