What is a good book or source for a beginner who wants to learn C language?

Thinking in C by Bruce Eckel is always a good start but the guys whoe created the C programming language, Kernighan and Ritchie have written some good books. You should try www.amazon. com (or www.amazon.co.uk if you are in the UK).

The thinking in "x" series used to be free but I'm not sure if it is now. (He has a few thinking in .... titles)

The indispensable guide to C, Paul Davies, Addison Wesley
Reply:The best source for information on pretty much anything, especially computer related subjects, is http://www.google.com/ . For instance, in your case searching for "C tutorials" might be an excellent start.
