Does anyone have any tips or websites or clubs that u can go/learn about R/C airplanes.?

I have got a non-break plane that i can hard fly so has any one got and tips or websites or even any clubs that u can go to learn about R/C Aircraft.

Does anyone have any tips or websites or clubs that u can go/learn about R/C airplanes.?
Here a few links for you to try first.

http://www.bmfa.org/

http://www.radio-control-model.com/cgi-b...

http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/plane/in...

http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/plane/in...

Most of these have a forum where you can join free and ask questions, there are also links to a local club where you can have buddy training.

This links you to an experienced flyer and he can take over the second you lose control of get into trouble, then hand it back to you.

There is also a DVD you can buy on Ebay for around £5 but i've just checked and it's not listed at the moment, keep looking under radio controlled models for it.

I really want to be an excellent software developer.Could somebody tell me what should I do ? Should I learn C

Knowing certain popular programming languages (Java, C++ etc) is only a very small part of being an excellent software developer. They will allow you to get jobs that require use languages. But to be good at this field, you have to know about things like design pattern, software architecture, object oriented programming, design workflow, requirement specification, UML, documentation, user interface. Software engineering is a discipline that encompasses not only coding, but also ways to develop functional software with the least amount of time (not to mention code maintainence). Coders simply get outsourced, software engineer, however, should know how to design things properly. If you don't have programming background then yes, learn a language. I'd suggest Java or C++ and have a good understanding of object oriented programming. Once you know those two the rest is pretty easy to pick up.

I really want to be an excellent software developer.Could somebody tell me what should I do ? Should I learn C
buy a good c++ book start from the beginning and follow all the programing techniques in this language

then move to do more complected thinks

find a project that you want to do for sample an instant messaging software and work around to make this happened.

at the moment you finish you will be better programmer that a Lot of guys that i know
Reply:I have been a developer for 15 years. If you want to be an excellent software developer, I would recommend that you learn SQL (for database queries), C#, and Flash (for graphical web development). These are all very marketable skills, and will take you a long way.
Reply:If you want to be a good Programmer then you must know C at the expert level
Reply:U think C is all enough. u are childhish. u must be a fresher. I'll recommend u might go to any renowned Computer institutions or if u think your B.E or B.Tech is enough, then wait.
Reply:You should learn C in depth, even though you may not get to use it much unless you get into device drivers and OS kernals. It takes you close to the metal - you will learn exactly what makes good code and bad because of that.

C++ is based on C, has the same syntax and capabilities, and generates identical code when writing C-like code. It has a wider range of features (namepsace, objects and so on) and applications. If C++ is on your list anyway, then it is enough to become merely competent in C.

Also learn at least 3 or 4 other languages. Preferably, each should be different from the others. Example- Java, SQL, C++, PHP. Get really good at two of them.

Don't forget the systems and build environments you might use them with. You don't "write code", your develop applications, libraries and tools for specific systems using particular platforms and development software. Omitting any of that knowledge leaves you somewhat crippled.

Also, if you have a particular field in mind (such as GIS, CAD, medical, business or gaming), pick up some domain skills. That is, if you want to do GIS, take a course or two in GIS and cartography. Few things help as much as knowing what it is you are are doing. Stringing lines of code together is one thing, stringing them together - with purpose and understanding - is another.

Make sure your math skills are wide ranging and strong. You rarely will need much beyond high school math (really), but it helps. Most of what you will do is architectural, not mathematical. But once you have to grind some numbers, you had better know the complete ins and outs or your will end up writing code slower and buggier than anything MS ever produced.
Reply:c++ is basic

java is very popular

basically, get your hands on any software development... software
Reply:The answer is embedded in your question. IMHO to be a good software programmer, one must

1. Have a good understanding of atleast one major language, like C/C++/Java

2. Have a good grounding on Object Oriented concepts

3. Learn a couple of scripting languages like Shell/Perl/Python

4. Know the associated tools of the trade like Makefile, Configuration Management etc.

But having said this, the above are necessary but not sufficient to become a good software developer.

Software is mostly a helper discipline for other domains like Mechanical, Electrical etc except for some core areas like OS, Networking etc. Hence if one is able to understand the problem domain that one is trying to solve, and evolve a good software solution to the problem with quality and within time, then that person is a good software developer.
Reply:Get a college degree in Computer Science or Software Engineer. You need to understand algorithms, data structures, software design, data design, numerical methods, statistics, networking protocols, cryptography, etc. You won't learn any of that stuff from a C++ book.
Reply:Use the FREE 'C' compiler, Perl development tools, "Ruby, on Rails" all included in Linux, FREE!

Reply:You should learn a whole range of programming languages if you want to be an _excellent_ software developer, along with a whole bunch of other things about multimedia, web design, databases... the list goes on! Good luck!

Reply:actually this excellent definition is depend upon you.

first decide in which field , my mean, whether in networking programming or system programming or database programming or site developer. its upon you, what you decide learn in that field. bt c and c++ are basic language of all. so its good to have a rigid base.

How to dance easy hip hop moves or i want to learn how to c walk?

I want to learn how to c walk or any other cool hip hop moves , send me tutorials of links and very good specific ones and i mostly want to learn how to c walk and I've looked everywhere and if you know how can you tell me what moves you do first , second , third , fourth , like all that and specific on how to do it. Thanks a lot for reading this question and commenting :D

How to dance easy hip hop moves or i want to learn how to c walk?
the simplest way to learn how to cwalk is off tutorials off youtube. however, cwalking isnt about learning a ton of moves but its you making up your own. so most tutorials you find will teach you the basics with a few examples of variations and combos.

I suggest you start off with Kyren's tutorials on youtube. There is no specific order in learning how to cwalk, but most people learn the V, shuffle, and then heel toe.

also, feel free to join www.thecwalk.com, the biggest community for cwalking and where all the best walkers are.
Reply:the standard cwalk that we all talk about is 'clown walking' the dance, which was based off the crip's crip walk. Report It

Reply:Believe it or not but you can learn dance moves from Fit TV All Star Workout.
Reply:Do on search for some hip-hop dance classes in your area. We have a few of them around here and they are awesome.

I know the fundamentals of Java (without knowing too much about the API). How easily can I learn C#?

I started off writing Java and now all I prefer to write is C#. The transition was incredibly easy.

I read Data Structures and Algorithams in Java and have built nearly every example in C# and the examples in the books were nearly exactly convertable to C#.

Good luck

I know the fundamentals of Java (without knowing too much about the API). How easily can I learn C#?
If you know Java, then picking up C# should be a breeze for you. There are some subtle differences in terminology, and creating actual projects is a little different, but the languages are almost identical. In fact, many people claim that MS ripped Sun Systems when it made C# because it is so similar. If anything, C# is a little easier, as the .NET environment provides a much easier method for developing GUI's and packaging projects.

What is better to learn vb or c++?

i am onfused whether to learn vb or c++. advice neded

What is better to learn vb or c++?
Depends on your intentions. VB is probably easier if you are not expecting employment. If you are looking for a career, few employers want VB so C++ would be better.

Or look at Java. That's the most common requirement for Software engineers lately (Visit some employment website to see) And it can be downloaded free from the java.sun.com website (start with JAVASE and NetBeans)
Reply:what's your preference first?

for being tough professional, c++ obviously,

just for time pass? then vb
Reply:VB is widely used in industry but the market rates for C++ is better. You will normally see C++ development on Unix\Linux platforms. Microsoft is moving away from C++ on to C#. If you want to write for the Windows platform go with C#. If you want to do C++ expect to work on non-Windows platforms and expect to put your dues in.
Reply:start with c for programming basics

move to c++ for some advance concepts in programming

then move to vb for GUI applications

then JAVA for real world requirements

be sure to learn a database also
Reply:Both are essential so it depends on you and i prefer C++ because this is Advance one.

I know C, not very well, but I know some! Do you advise me to learn some other languages now?

Or I should stick with C until I know it very very well and then learn something like C++ and Java and maybe asm! Some ppl told me that I should learn something else like Python now and some told me to stick with C! What should I do?

I know C, not very well, but I know some! Do you advise me to learn some other languages now?
Instead of jumping languages, stick to one until you're comfortable, then by that time, any other languages will be easier to learn, since the logic will be similar all you'll have to worry is the syntax.
Reply:It really depends on what you learned on it.

For example, do you now have an idea on how to create WHOLE games (Including game engine) by virtue of lines of code?

If you do, then you can try out different programming languages and find what's "comfortable" for you.

If not, then I suggest reading about it.

It's because primarily, it's not important what kinds of programming languages you know, but primarily if you understand what and how can you do what you want on it.
Reply:you better go for c#.net...its amazing n intresting
Reply:Yes, learn others! always...

Programming languages are easy to move from one to the other. If you want to do different things like web work, db work, or windows programming, there are a lot of things to try.. Visual Basic (don't laugh) is one you should have, do you program in php or (ug) perl? Java and/or javascript?

You will find that by just programming in these will help you in the logic part of programming, which to me is the hardest part and may open other ways to tackle a problem when you are working in c++

I think though that you probably should stick to the area of programming you will be doing, for instance if you do not do web work, and never plan to, then there is no reason to learn javascript or php or perl or other web related languages..
Reply:It's good to be proficient in a given programming language, but it's not a very strict, what with all these tutorials on the internet.

So I'd say stick with C until you can use it well, and when you need something really elaborate chances are you will be able to find the theory online.

I'd suggest you learn C# , for the OOP concepts. C++ is good too, but C# forces you to use pure OOP.

Do I need to learn VB before C#?
you do not need to know VB before C#. Since it will be your first language, i would go with C#. Once you know that, VB will be easy

Reply:Sure, you can, but i recommend first VB, so you see lil of programming, but a big start it's with C# If you got tutorials, or people to help you, but if you will explore first i recommend you VB first, get tutorials, that helps you a LOT!

This is scually a two part question which computer language is better to learn C++ or visual C++?
Visual C++ is better to learn for beginner.

why ?

If you want to improve your skill , you must practice by making some simple software, phone book, calculator, word pad, dictionary, screen saver, alarm, clock, or making some picture running through your desktop.

Software which build by Visual C++ is very beautiful (windows based), and you can use windows SDK and make a simple interesting software like Text To Speech.

It's different with software which build by C++, it's very ugly, just some text with 16 colors (Dos/Unix based), you don't know what kind of software that you want to build, everything is too boring. Trust me, you don't want to build some stupid software which ask your input in command prompt mode.

you can download Turbo C++ for free in this site :

http://www.turboexplorer.com/cpp
Reply:They are the same thing, basically. Visual C++ has a good interface for learning though. However, it is not free unless you download the express version. If you know Linux OS then I would say use gnuC++ and get a good book to help you.

I've never programed before, whats the easiest way to learn c++ or visual basic?

If you are going to try to learn C++ from a book, I would recommend looking at Accelerated C++ by Andrew Koenig and Barbara E. Moo.

It takes a different approach to the subject starting with easy to write programs that reduce the frustration of having a whole lot of new material thrown at you all at once.

I've never programed before, whats the easiest way to learn c++ or visual basic?
I learned GWBASIC by tackling a difficult programming task using it. I bought a few books about it and then sat down to program my PC to predict the external ballistics of a bullet in flight using GWBASIC. It took me about 4 months to get the program working, but, by the time I did, I was an expert in GWBASIC.
Reply:there are many short courses offering c++ and vb in colleges. there are also tutorials online. try searching them in yahoo.
Reply:You can buy a book which teaches these language,so i have studied VB from a book. Now i'm good at VB.
Reply:take a course at a local college
Reply:There is no such thing called as EASY. No pain, no gain. There is a lot of hardwork to be undergone inorder to master C++ and VB. Ok ? Try to apply to any nearest computer school or try learning online. You must pay the fees and join the class and learn step by step from your teacher. If dont know anything, dont just feel shy ... or ask your friends, just raise up your hand and ask the teacher. If in cyberclass ... keep emailing the lecturer until you get your stuff right. All the best in your course.

2.'C and data structers' by Balaguruswamy. Here you can find no of examples for practice!

3.Still if you want to go through the subject further..better you go for 'C-the complete reference'..by Schildt. This is a standard book which you can preserve in your book library!!

Which book would you recommend for someone who wants to learn C# and with little or no programming experience?

Visual C# For Dummies.

All the For Dummies books are great resources for people who've never done a given type of programming.

Which book would you recommend for someone who wants to learn C# and with little or no programming experience?
Programming are not so simple now!!! you should have some knowledge of object oriented techniques. Once you have that I gurantee you any new language would be a piece of cake for you.

I suggest look into object oriented techniques of C++ or even better JAVA. If you get yourself familiarized with JAVA conversion to C# is not more than 1 days struggle.

You can get all the information you need regarding C# on Microsoft MSDN.

Try C++ for Dummies
Reply:I agree with the first poster - don't try to learn C++ over the Internet, via web sites about it. It is a very, very difficult language. Get a book reference to keep by the computer as you work through the night cursing at your first "Hello world!" app that won't compile.

There are a couple of free C++ environments. Perhaps the best thing out there right now is "Visual C++ Express" in that it is a version of the most popular integrated environment out there, and is free.

I am a starter in .NET. I want to learn C# from scratch, tell me a way?

First, it helps to get a background on the language. Inside C# by Tom Archer (Microsoft Press publishing) will give you a good background.

Next, you will need to get the compiler. You can either get the Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition (for free) from Microsoft's MSDN Website or, alternatively, you can get the .NET Framework SDK (which comes with the compilers) and use an alternate IDE, such as SharpDevelop.

The .NET Framework SDK comes with several pieces of sample code that demonstrate the various .NET APIs and technologies. Also, you can download the 101 Code Samples for C# from Microsoft's MSDN site.

When you have questions, you can visit the other community sites to post questions, look for user samples and articles, etc. I've include the links to all below:

I am a starter in .NET. I want to learn C# from scratch, tell me a way?
I did the same thing not long ago, and I'm coming along fairly nicely. One thing I would recommend is a site called CodeProject (see link below). LOTS of good stuff there from beginning to very advanced.

The books I got are:

Programming in the Key of C# - This is very good if you have never done any programming. It teaches some very basic concepts that most books just assume you already know.

Visual C# .NET 2003 Kick Start - This was an awesome book for me, as I already have done some programming and this goes through a LOT of topics with very good, short explanations. After reading this book, you can call yourself a C# programmer. Entry level, but a programmer.

TCP/IP Sockets in C# - This book has a narrow focus and will introduce you to just about everything you need to program internet apps.

Advanced .NET Remoting (C# Edition) - As the title implies, this is an advanced book. I have not gone very far with it :( but it does get very good reviews. What little I have read, it was explained very clearly. My problem here is that I don't have any need for remoting right now, so it doesn't interest me enough to learn it. Remoting is the evolution of COM/DCOM, and it's used for parallel processing with a network of computers. You might find it useful at some point, because this is where things are moving rapidly.

All of these are focused on Visual Studio .NET 2003. (I.e, .NET 1.1) I still can't afford 2005 (.NET 2.0), so if that's what you're using then I can't offer much help! Most of the info will still be valuable either way.

How long does it take an absolute beginner to learn C++?
I took C++ before and it took me a couple of months before I understood C++, but as the previous person said, although it may take a short amount of time to learn it, it takes a lifetime to master it!
Reply:For every person is totally different, I would say you tend to pick up better if you think logically and/or understand math concepts. I can think logically, but my math skills I left somewhere back in high school. For me, it took me about a month to begin to be able to produce a program with no syntax or run time errors, but I still have trouble sometimes. You cant expect someone to give you an answer on mastering it, just because its all relevant. Think of the way you learned to speak (your native language here), programming is much like learning to speak (your native language here) which is a good thing to know before you start. Regardless good luck, and may your journey into the world of computer logic...be a pleasant one.
Reply:Learning: 1 day.

Mastering: Lifetime

What and how is the best way to learn C++?

The book C++ in easy steps by Mike McGrath is awesome. Its easy to understand and it explains things really well. There are also a bunch of other in-easy-step books on that site that are great as well.

What and how is the best way to learn C++?
Honestly, the best way to learn C++ is to take a class. You'll have someone there who can answer your questions, and it's easier to be motivated to learn when you're not solely reliant on self-motivation.

If that's not an option for you, buy a good book and read it. Alternatively, find a good web tutorial and go through it. I'll link one below:

Is there any site through which i can learn c language in computers?

Dont learn 'C' language from computers, rather go for the good old" books". With a book u have the flexibility to learn from any location u like! exp. tarrace, drawing room, garden etc. You need considerable time to learn a language, so, computers are not the best bet as they are quite straining to eyes, back without any mobility. Use computer only to practice and sharpen your programming skills. You can refer "Yashovant Kanitkar", "P. Balguruswamy", "Schaum's series" etc.

You should check out dev c++ a free compiler and a bit of an IDE. Their URL is http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html doownload version 4 or 5 and you'll be on your way. The syntax from this compiler compared to visual studios is very similar. So finding code will be easy because you can use visual studios code. If you don't already know of planet source code you should check it out at planetsourcecode.com. It's a free code site.

Reply:"I am a student and i want to learn C++ but there are so many different programs."

You want a compiler and an IDE. A compiler is used to convert your program into something the computer understands. An IDE is your development environment, where you write the code and have it compiled.

There's two major compilers. The first is GCC, the second is Microsoft Visual C++. GCC is free, Visual C++ costs money. However, Microsoft released a scaled down version called Visual C++ Express for free.

Gcc runs on linux, but there's a version for windows called MinGW.

Link to download page: http://www.mingw.org/download.shtml

Direct link to download: http://prdownloads.sf.net/mingw/MinGW-5....

With Visual C++, you want the latest version. It's called Visual C++ .NET. You can either purchase Visual Studio .NET 2005, and you'll get Visual C++ with it. Or get the express edition.

Link to download page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/expres...

Now you want an IDE. Visual Studio is the IDE for Visual C++. If you have the express edition, you have a scaled down IDE that comes with it.

Or you can get either Code::Blocks or wxDev-C++. They work with both MinGW and Visual C++.

Code Blocks: http://www.codeblocks.org/

wxDev-C++: http://wxdsgn.sourceforge.net/

Buy a book on C++ and read it cover to cover.

Develop software in C++. Download some training videos that have associated study guides and example programs. Actually create the example programs to actually understand why and how the programs worked. Make modifications to those examples and see how the modifications worked.

Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/expres... for some materials.

Can anyone tell me how to study or learn c++ computer programming for an repeat exam,in 4 weeks?
How much do you need to know, and for an exam.

What kind of exam. For a pencil and paper exam I suggest you just read as many C++ books as you can and remember the actual facts about it.

If it's a practical exam (you program for the test) then your gonna need to write some programs. Start with hello world, then follow the books programming course or move on to more complicated non-graphical stuff. In 4 weeks, stick to using the console for output. Maybe make a game like guess the number or make a program that sorts 10 random numbers into order from least to greatest. The important thing is that you understand how to use each concept.

How long does it take about to learn C++ and visual Basic...... how many years has it taken you pernoally?
I learnt C++. I'd say it took me a year to learn all the basics.
Reply:Well it depends if you are getting a degree in it or not. Usually about 4-6 years of study to fully comprehend the language. But I have seen people with a shorter amount of time do it but they did not know it in depth. Me, I have been doing it for 2 years now and there is still stuff I don't know about it.
Reply:there are too many variables to make an estimate on time. the more time you put into it the sooner you'll learn it.
Reply:All programming is essentially the same. The difference is syntax. However long it takes you assimilate the syntax in both is dpenendent upon your learning ability. To become totally fluent, it may take you 5-6 projects in both. VB sucks.

Which is a better programming language to learn, C++ or Java, to find work in the financial industry?
I guess you are tryint to enter the field through trading areas. Those need both quick and dirty programming for solving new problems, AND user friendlly interfaces.

You will find that its usefl to know Matlab and/or Mathematica.

Visual Basic IS needed (on spite of the previous poster laugh) in order to expand excel capabilities. I do that all the time and, although I ultimately reprogram what I did in VB, it provides a fast solution.
Reply:Both can REALLY come in handy. They're both a lot alike. And they're both cross-platform. I am not exactly sure what you mean by "financial industry," but it may depend on the company.

They may want to use VB or something. LoL! =). That makes me laugh, but some do.
Reply:i would tend to lean towards java, but as eveyone has said, once you have learnt the basics in one langauage, you can generally pick up things in other languages quickly. if you learn both well, then you are definiatly be at an advantage
Reply:I'd say Java, but that's more from a general sense than from a finance-specific sense - like the above poster said, it's best to just learn the basics since a lotta things carry over between languages - but you can learn the basics in any language. Java, being the more advanced of the two, probably has more forward-thinking features that newer languages will implement than the older C++. I know both and find Java a whole lot more useful, but the same basic principles apply to both.

How long would it take someone to learn C++?

C++ is completely different with other computer languages. You definitely need to start with a course at least 10 lessons. After that you can learn by yourself without any course. Find books in your local library and start reading. It takes at least 2 years to become a good biginner. You then need 3 more years to become a high level of intermidiate. To become professional you need to go to courses and study in university.

How long would it take someone to learn C++?
That depends on whether you already know programming, or if you have to learn programming first and, if you already know programming, which languages (if any) you already know.

If this is your first foray into computer programming, figure about a year before you're an entry level programmer (you can create some of the simpler code, if someone lays the program out for you), and about 2-3 years of full-time work to get to mid-level (you still need someone to analyze the problem and design the program, but you can code some of the more complex parts). It may take you longer, if you have trouble learning programming - some people just can't catch on.

Anywhere I can find video tutorials on learn c++ programming. I don't want to read rather watch/hear it.?

My advice to you is: learn to get used to reading. Programming is not the easiest thing to do in the world. While it's not overtly difficult, it does require a bit of attention. The vast majority of tutorials and information for new and relevant technology comes in the form of text. Afterall, you are reading the answer to your question as we speak. So I highly recommend textual resources. On the other hand, there are some really good video c++ resources out there. Almost always you have to pay to get these videos however (while the textual resources are free.)

I'm trying to decide whether to learn C# or Java. Can you please tell me the pros and cons of both languages?

I'd like to know the technical advantages/disadvantages of both languages, as well as employment prospects if I master one vs the other. Thank you!

I'm trying to decide whether to learn C# or Java. Can you please tell me the pros and cons of both languages?
Both use a lot of the same syntax. Java can be used with any computer, all you need is the java runtime environment. C# isn't as compatible, and you usually need the microsoft .net framework.
Reply:It's like learning how to use PC and Macintosh; you need both to meet the industry standards . . .
Reply:C# is easy to learn and work...while Java is a little bit tougher..

In java, jobs r in huge number while in C# a little bit less...

How long does it take about to learn C++ and visual Basic...... how many years has it taken you pernoally?

take 2 courses in college and you should be good

What is the best book to learn C# with?

C++ (pronounced /ˌsiːˌplʌsˈplʌs/) is a general-purpose programming language. C++ is regarded as a mid-level language, as it comprises a combination of both high-level and low-level language features.[1] It is a statically typed, free-form, multi-paradigm, usually compiled language supporting procedural programming, data abstraction, object-oriented programming, and generic programming.

Bjarne Stroustrup developed C++ in 1979 at Bell Labs as an enhancement to the C programming language and named it "C with Classes". In 1983 it was renamed to C++. Enhancements started with the addition of classes, followed by, among other features, virtual functions, operator overloading, multiple inheritance, templates, and exception handling. The C++ programming language standard was ratified in 1998 as ISO/IEC 14882:1998, the current version of which is the 2003 version, ISO/IEC 14882:2003. A new version of the standard (known informally as C++0x) is being developed.

What is the easyest way to learn C++.?
From the experiences i summarized, i suggest you firstly build up slight interest on this subject other than studying it from the perspective of score-oriented, in other words, i recommend you preview some relevant books as much as you can in order to make the interest you built up more objective. Subsequently, you are supposed to hunt the fundamental knowledge of this subject and develop new interest day after day!

Franky speaking, not very easy way to learn C++ except for examination only!

Anyway, good luck!

Tell me some good books to learn c language adn also for java?
The best series of books I've come across are called "Teach Yourself - - - in 24 Hours" and "Teach Yourself - - - in 21 Days" by SAMS. In both cases, you replace the "- - -" with the language you're interested in.
Reply:I would look into the "Head First" series of books put out by O'Reilly. You would not be able to use these books as guides or references, but to understand the basics of the Java language.

I'm not really sure about a good 'C' guide! My guess is that "Head First" does not have one...
Reply:Or try For Dummies ... (C for Dummies, Java For Dummies)

At least you got the essentials first ...

Forum, Mailing List, or Development Community sites is still the best and up to date place for learning and sharing ...

You should ask this in a category for Computers. This is for languages as in French, Farsi, etc. not programming languages.

What is the easiest way to learn c++, have tried books,?

any dvds or websites that can teach from start to advance level in a short time

What is the easiest way to learn c++, have tried books,?
the easiest way to learn C++ is that you should have a good knowldge of C and thats all there are few new things that are added

see this http://analysingc.50webs.com
Reply:I learned C++ when I was at high school. Took Intro to c++ and got a B. Took Intermediate and got a C. Took Advanced and got a B. My point is that you need a teacher. Because the teacher helped me a lot. BUT if you are good at following directions then buy a C++ book. The intro part is very easy in my opinion. This is the book that my teacher used for intro, intermediate and advanced c ++.

Reply:Hay,

The book "Programming in C++" by Balaguruswamy by Tata Mcgraw Hill publications.

The book is the best for starting.

For advance you can go for Mastering C++. Or you can find more tutorials in internet.

The another book, i can suggest is 'Let us C++ 'by Yeswanth Kanethkar, for reference.
Reply:You could join a programming course if there is one, but if you want to learn at home then you should probably try to get as many complete examples as you can and see how they're constructed - look at the basic framework of a program and read a good book at the same time, build up from small beginnings to full programs. Perhaps the best book you could ever own is The C++ Programming Language by Bjarne Stroustrup - it's a hefty and expensive hardback, but should have everything you could possible need to know about C++.
Reply:GO TO SCHOOL

:P
Reply:There is NO easy way to learn anything - practice, practice, practice is the key.

Books are essential but most important with any programming is a logical mind. The smallest addition, omission, misplacement or duplication of an instruction in a computer program will render it useless, so PATIENCE is another essential.

The K%26amp;R C book is concise and to the point.

And then start writing programs. Then only u can learn it.
Reply:First, you'll need a C programming Editor/Compiler to practice on. I recommend Pelles C:

It's free, and pretty user friendly, and much simpler than C++ IDEs like Microsoft's Visual Studio.

You can start learning with online tutorials. Here's one that promises to teach C in 5 hours:

http://members.tripod.com/~johnt/c.html

You can find others by Googling "C Programming tutorial"

In my opinion the best book to start with is probably "Teach Yourself C in 24 Hours." This series of books has short chapters that are easy to follow, and it's even on sale at Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i...

At some point you might want to take some classes, because it's a very complex topic that's hard to learn on your own, but my above suggestions should help you get started. Have fun.
Reply:read the book and look for the example or source code, and learn it
Reply:Buy "C Language for Dummies" or "C ++ for Dummies". These books are really good. Also you will need C++ installed in your PC.

If you have enough time, it might be better if you first go through a book of "Data Structure" before learning any language. That can build a very good idea in your mind how data is structured and is organised. It might take some time, but if you do this way, you will be in a better shape while learning C/C++. Also, it might give you to later use your already stablished skills to learn some advanced languages like Visual Basic and Visual C.
Reply:buy a book

Who can tell me how to learn C++ well?

could you introduce some books to me.thank you!

Who can tell me how to learn C++ well?
It's really really hard to become a programmer on your own. Sure, you can learn all about the language, but the trick is creating software for the real world. That's what programmers are paid to do, and you have to get a computer science degree to learn the basics, then you will learn how to create software in a software company. Programmers buy books for reference purposes, and students buy books for classes. That's really what computer books should be used for, not to "teach yourself c++" as so many books will claim to do.

What is the best Way to learn C++?

I'm 12.(like summer camps, books ,internet,etc.)

What is the best Way to learn C++?
That depends on how good you are at programming. If you aren't, start with something like Wirth's "Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs". (Amazon usually has a few used copies for under $5. You learn programming first, THEN you learn a computer language.

Would you learn French to become a doctor in France, or would you first learn to be a doctor? Speaking French doesn't make you a French doctor, and knowing C++ doesn't make you a C++ programmer.

Plus you could always ask questions here if you had problems
Reply:Depends on what you want. Quick (relatively) overview, survey type of approach? Online may be better. In depth understanding, for professional or serious work? You might find that a book from O'reilly or Microsoft is good for precise definitions, a relatively rigorous approach, and written for an intelligent reader.

I used several on-line tutorials to learn xhtml-mp and wml for mobile phones and they were quite adequate--but I already knew (older) html in depth. I used the O'reilly book for JavaScript, and it was exactly what I needed--a rigorous and in depth approach.

You can also get other types of books--Wrox and the "for Dummies" books come to mind--which are written to be less demanding for the reader, imo and experience.

To the extent that you are seriously interested in the language and environment, I would suggest that you get one of the more rigorous books (O'Reilly or Microsoft usually, and undoubtedly others). You can check the reviews on Amazon for what will suit you best. Read half a dozen to ten reviews, and you'll have a good picture of the book.

With your background, even though short, you can probably take either/any approach--if you concentrate and focus on learning, you should be able to be producing code in a few days. Slowly at first, and learning as you go, but easily doable. Good luck.

Nothing is Good other than Yeshwant kanetkar for C , but if u want u can go for Balgurusway also
Reply:If you wish to learn C, the classic text - the "Bible" - is "The C Programming Language", 2nd Edition, by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie. This hallowed text describes and explains ANSI C. K%26amp; R2 is renowned for its brevity, clarity, elegance and completeness; but these very factors can make it heavy going for the beginner. http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/cbook/

K N King's "C Programming: A Modern Approach" is another text frequently recommended on comp.lang.c. This book is a good, thorough introduction to C that is a lot easier to work with from a beginner's perspective. http://knking.com/books/c/

Another frequently recommended book on C is "C - How to Program", 2nd Edition, by H M Deitel and P J Deitel. Please note that I have not had a chance to read this book, and include the reference on the strength of the the recommendation of a number of regular posters to comp.lang.c. http://www.deitel.com/products_and_servi...
