I've never programed before, whats the easiest way to learn c++ or visual basic?

If you are going to try to learn C++ from a book, I would recommend looking at Accelerated C++ by Andrew Koenig and Barbara E. Moo.

It takes a different approach to the subject starting with easy to write programs that reduce the frustration of having a whole lot of new material thrown at you all at once.

I learned GWBASIC by tackling a difficult programming task using it. I bought a few books about it and then sat down to program my PC to predict the external ballistics of a bullet in flight using GWBASIC. It took me about 4 months to get the program working, but, by the time I did, I was an expert in GWBASIC.
Reply:there are many short courses offering c++ and vb in colleges. there are also tutorials online. try searching them in yahoo.
Reply:You can buy a book which teaches these language,so i have studied VB from a book. Now i'm good at VB.
Reply:take a course at a local college
Reply:There is no such thing called as EASY. No pain, no gain. There is a lot of hardwork to be undergone inorder to master C++ and VB. Ok ? Try to apply to any nearest computer school or try learning online. You must pay the fees and join the class and learn step by step from your teacher. If dont know anything, dont just feel shy ... or ask your friends, just raise up your hand and ask the teacher. If in cyberclass ... keep emailing the lecturer until you get your stuff right. All the best in your course.
