Reply:I agree with the first poster - don't try to learn C++ over the Internet, via web sites about it. It is a very, very difficult language. Get a book reference to keep by the computer as you work through the night cursing at your first "Hello world!" app that won't compile.
There are a couple of free C++ environments. Perhaps the best thing out there right now is "Visual C++ Express" in that it is a version of the most popular integrated environment out there, and is free.
